I would hope that these gentleman agree to support the primary winner and make a public commitment to devote the time to beat Gene and not make another mockery of the election. If a candidate cannot devote the major portion of his time for the next year, they should reconsider running and throw the support to those that will run. If the Libertarian party is serious about winning, then run as a republican as Ron and Ryan Paul and the other Libertarians do to win. A third party will not win; that is just fact.

McKay seems like a descent guy, but he had his chance in '08. I think its Joe's turn. As a matter of fact, there are 13 people viewing his site right now.

I haven't seen where he's officially thrown his hat in, but his website changed from "exploratory committee" to a campaign site and states,"I am proud to be a native Mississippian and running again for the United States House of Representatives."

No doubt he'll have to work a lot harder in 2010 than he did in 2008 if he plans on beating Gene Taylor and his bigshot campaign financiers.

Hopefully Joe and John will hold a debate soon to earn the Republican party nomination. I'd even like to see a roundtable debate/discussion held between Joe, John, and candidates from other parties such as the Libertarian and Constitution Party.

I'm not sure what the rules and regulations of such an event would allow, but then, it's rules and regulations that keep people in power - in power. Maybe the candidates can do this without party permission. I don't know - just an idea... any thoughts?
